Switch Charlottetown was a home energy financing initiative that helped Charlottetown homeowners invest in energy efficiency and home comfort upgrades with 0% interest loans. Launched in 2021, the program enabled residents to complete improvements such as heat pump installations, insulation upgrades, solar energy systems, energy-efficient windows and doors, and more.
Through this program, more than 700 energy retrofit projects were completed, helping homeowners reduce energy use, lower household greenhouse gas emissions, and improve home comfort.
