The Charlottetown Bike Bus is an ongoing partnership between the City and local schools. A Bike Bus is a means of transportation to get students to and from school. It travels along a fixed route, collecting or dropping off students along the way. Unlike a bike yellow school bus however, the Bike Bus is a group bike ride of students and adult volunteers.
The Bike Bus runs throughout the school year as weather allows. Community members interested in starting a Bike Bus at their own school are encouraged to speak with school administrators, teachers, parents, guardians, and other cycling enthusiasts to help build support.
